We can carry out laser safety snd protection training courses at your premises, at our office, or in virtual classroom by telematic means.
Basic training level for operators working in an environment with laser systems, advanced training for people responsible for laser protection (Laser Safety Officer) or customized training to the particular needs of each organization.
Our core offering in laser safety training courses:
Basic Course:
- 4 hours
- workers and users of laser systems or intense light sources
- mandatory for the indicated workers
Advanced course:
- 16 hours
- Laser Safety Officer (LSO) of the facility (Responsable de Seguridad Láser - RSL)
- It is recommended that centers with class 3B or 4 lasers have at least one or two LSOs.

Article 8 of the Spanish Royal Decree 486/2010 and technical report IEC-TR60825-14 (Chapter 3) from the International Electrotechnical Commission specify that all employees using laser and light emitting systems should receive laser safety and protection training. It also specifies that organizations using laser systems of Class 3R (invisible), Class 3B or Class 4 should appoint a laser safety officer (LSO) with sufficient technical knowledge.
The face-to-face virtual classroom modality has been accepted by the Spanish Public Service for Employment (SEPE) in its Resolution of April 15, 2020 of extraordinary measures to deal with the impact of COVID-19 in order to facilitate the delivery of training actions, considered in any case as face-to-face training.
Thanks to our remote, online training, we already provide service to people and entities in America who are aware of laser safety. We propose customized content for the legislation of countries such as Mexico, Argentina or Chile among other Ibero American countries. We can also adapt our training to your time zone (we are in Spain).
We teach our courses in Spanish and English.
